Anaheim Hills is an affluent planned community encompassing the eastern portions of the city of Anaheim, in Orange County, California. Anaheim Hills is located just south of Yorba Linda, California, opposite the 91 freeway at Imperial Highway. The western border is the 55 freeway opposite the city of Orange, California. On the northeast side the community extends past Gypsum Canyon, bordered by unincorporated areas of Orange County and Cleveland National Forest (east). To the south is the Santa Ana foothills opposite the community of Villa Park, California. The entirety of Anaheim Hills is within the city limits of Anaheim, California.
Yorba Linda ("Beautiful Yorba", in English) is a suburban city in northeastern Orange County, California, approximately 13 miles (21 km) northeast of Downtown Santa Ana and 37 miles (60 km) southeast of Downtown Los Angeles. Yorba Linda has been identified as one of the richest cities in the U.S. by the U.S. Census Bureau, which shows a median household income of $121,075, higher than any other city in 2006.
Villa Park is an affluent city in northern Orange County, California, near and surrounded by the city of Orange, and close to Anaheim Hills, that incorporated in 1962. As of the 2010 Census, the city had a population of 5,812, making it the smallest city in Orange County by population (La Palma is Orange County's smallest city in area). The city is largely zoned for single-family residences on lots that average about 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2), or 1/2 acre, in size. Within the city limits there is one small shopping center that includes a Ralph's "Fresh Fare" grocery store, three banks, a pharmacy with a postal substation, and a variety of stores and offices. City Hall, including a community room, and a branch of the Orange County Public Libraries system is adjacent to the city's only shopping center.
North Tustin is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Orange County, California. The population was 24,917 at the 2010 census, up from 24,044 at the 2000 census. It is Orange County's largest census-designated place. It is outside the city limits of Tustin and has a 92705 ZIP Code. The name was changed from Tustin Foothills in 2005.
Within the North Tustin census-designated place are the distinct unincorporated communities of Cowan Heights, East Tustin, Lemon Heights, North Tustin, Panorama Heights, and Red Hill. The Foothill Communities Association (FCA) is a nonprofit corporation begun in the 1960s to preserve the living environment in those communities. FCA works as a representative body for over 10,000 homes within the area.
